Prayers for God's peace that passes understanding for the family of the young man who was so senselessly murdered.

Well, I'm back in Alaska. I would rather be home, but I don't miss the heat.

Howdy. 2 airplane flights, a ferry ride, a van ride, a boat ride, and a long walk up the hill, and I'm back where I'm supposed to be. Total travel time for the day was about 17 hours.

Total travel time for the day was about 17 hours. On Sunday I had 17 hours of travel, behind a steering wheel. From Toronto to SE Iowa. Whether flying or driving. That much travel is tiring.

Good night.
I believe, for every drop of rain that falls,
A flower grows . . .
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night,
A candle glows . . .
I believe for everyone who goes astray,
Someone will come, to show the way,
I believe, I believe . . .
I believe, above the storm the smallest prayer,
Will still be heard . . .
I believe, that someone in the great somewhere,
Hears every word . . .
Everytime I hear a newborn baby cry,
Or touch a leaf, or see the sky,
Then I know why, I believe!
I believe, above the storm the smallest prayer,
Will still be heard . . .
I believe, that someone in the great somewhere,
Hears every word . . .
Everytime I hear a newborn baby cry,
Or touch a leaf, or see the sky,
Then I know why, I believe!

thanks Iowa.. Read about your LONG drive.. did you go across the border in Michigan or NY? I like Toronto.. all of Ontario in fact. I am sure the group was fun (it was a gardening forum, no?)
Always good to get away - always good to get home.
need to crash.. up at 5 to get things in place for our FReeper get together which I am coordinating

That was the quickest for you. sometimes there are seemingly 100s of cars/trucks in line. did you have a long wait crossing border? customs difficult? Sometimes it is a breeze & sometimes a nightmare. Depends on officer there. You drove thru one of "my fav' Canada areas.. London, Stratford, etc ONT . Hugging the lake shore the area is so quaint. but with all that driving you were no doubt cross-eyed!
Night~!
