I think the pitbull lost this one ...
Sorry about that.
Heck, when my brother got himself bashed up pretty good I said the same thing to him.
(Got hospital jello thrown at me.)
You and me both. I don't know enough to tell if the pic's photoshopped or not, but it just doesn't look right.
and also very, very funny....I'm wiping off my flatscreen now..
If you've ever even had one quill stuck in you that picture is unbearable to look at!!! That poor, poor creature! I suppose the number of quills present bear witness to a pitbull's undaunting tenacity!
If it were photoshopped, you would think they would do something about the shoes the handler is wearing.
I sure hope it's not real. Poor pup.
OOps.
How bad is the damage to the screen?
(If only they'd rhinolinered the dog, he'd be impervious to porcupines, skunks, and baths.)*
*Please note, I am not actually advocating using rhino liner on dogs!
Don't you have to push the quills through to get them out...because of the barbed ends..
They'd remove them under anesthesia anyhow.
Certainly looks like one, and knowing something about BT's this could very happen in an encounter with a porcupine. BT's have a tendency to take things further than they should ... they're tenacious. By the way ... a bull terrier is not a pit bull.
Wow! That looks SO painful. I guess the dog just didn't know when to quit. It's so over the top that I wonder if it's real too. Isn't it a shame that you can't even trust a picture anymore?!
anyone get a picture of the porcupine?
anyone get a picture of the porcupine?
I hope that it's photoshopped. I can hardly stand to look at it. That poor dog.
Damn, that is a depressing picture. A friend of mine had a pit bull. The dog never bit anyone and died of old age. I remember the damn thing would fetch large stones that we would through into a near swift moving river. These were big rocks, but somehow and the dog would go under and always manage to get its jaws around and bring em back.
throw
Youch! Count me among those hoping it's a skilled Photoshop. Poor creature!
>Actually I'm thinking this looks like a plain old
Bull Terrier. <
Ever read The Incredible Journey? The Bull Terrier, Bodger, got into a scuffle with a porcupine in that book.
It's the first thing that came to mind when I saw the photo in this thread.
