I don't think it was Koontz' best book. I'm still awaiting the second book of the Frankenstein series. I thought Frankenstein was way a "head" of itself. LOL!

Yes, I'm looking forward to Frankenstein 2 myself. I agree Velocity wasn't among Koontz's best work. His heroes are often flawed, but this one was a little further around the bend than usual.
