To the happy few who may read this...I used to post here as Pat The Postman. Never insulted anyone. Just presented facts. Paid respect to everyone. Yesterday I participated in a highly interesting thread about the War On Iraq/Terrorism. Today I posted a link to an official report from the UK from the Chatham House, a deeply respected think tank, held in high esteem all over the world. And what happened? Well, all my posts were removed, and the thread about the Chatham House report was pulled within a minute. This is interesting. What's the matter? There is but one answer: the moderators here are deeply, deeply afraid of something. If you pull such a report from the U.K., there is something very, very wrong with the confidence in it's own opinions with the American Right. If a mild dissenter (not in all issues!) like me gets banned, well, I will leave before I get banned again. For good. I made no formal error, nor did I act as a troll or post lies. Ah well, it's a darn good story to tell to my friends. We will have a jolly good laugh at the FR paranoia. Somehow the words 'Joe' and 'McCarthy' come to mind. No doubt this post will be shredded within seconds. The big question remains: WHAT ARE YOU ALL AFRAID OF? I would so much like to read a long string of replies to this question, but well, fearful people have the habit of now answering. Still, respect to all, except for the cowards that run this board. Pat The Postman.
Goom-bye!....Abyssinya!
"In a 20034 survey of 2,000 Russians commissioned by Stephen White at the University of Glasgow, 95 per cent of the respondents felt that terrorism was a serious threat to Russian security. 1 However, despite the fact that Chechen groups have claimed recent terrorist acts, Russians were far more worried about the Americans. In the survey, 23 per cent cited the US as the major threat to Russia; only three per cent said the same for Chechnya."
More Worried about the US than Chechen terrorism? Still only 23% of the respondents say so. I see the poll was done before Beslan. I'm surprised it's not higher because the international press loves to spew anti-US rhetoric, alas BBC.
"What is clear is that terrorism is affecting the way in which these respondents analyse the political situation in Russia. There was a tendency to blame democracy for terrorism, both in the global and the Russian contexts."
"For example, many of the focus-group participants perceived the expansionist ambitions of the capitalist US as responsible for much of world terrorism. Many Russian respondents commented that too much democracy was to blame for the lack of law and order."
Yes, lets have more despots and tyrants as rulers. Here's a fact Pat: 'liberal' democracies have never went to war with each other.
Well, I suspected you were a troll, but held my fire. Thanks for hanging yourself.
Pot the Pastman.
Fun with Keywords.

Sayonara, old timer.
Agreed. Joe McCarthy was a genuine Patriot, who gave up his life and reputation for his country. Perhaps his reptuation may someday be restored.
One of the best parts of being a FReeper is reading the keywords. FReepers ROCK, dude!

That's the problem.
The think tank you are speaking of, isn't.
You presented 'blame America first' BS as fact, and it is not fact.
Thank you.
I only read these threads for the keywords.
You are really, really gone...
Viking Kitties scare me
Three cheers for the Mods who keep FR disease free.
1. Prevention addressing underlying causes of terrorism here and overseas. That means, among other things, ensuring that Muslim citizens enjoy the full protection of the law and are able to participate to the full in British society.
Seems to me the four 7/7 terrorists were participating fully in both British and American society.
"When will they ever learn?"
I think I have hit onto something. When I come across a Zotted post, I always save the post then print it backwords. In virtually every case, hidden deep in the middle of the post, is the encrypted message that says "I have whine and cheese all over my butt and I am a knucklehead!"
Is that scary or what! Squeek the cat agrees.....
