I was in our backyard this afternoon when I was reading the chapter "The White Tomb." The weather here this afternoon was exactly how the weather was described in the book. I stopped reading a few times...couldn't seem to see the words.

BTW--I got the book from Barnes and Noble, the midnight party. On the way out, I was skimming through the names of the chapters. One of the salespeople said something about "DON'T READ THE NAME OF THE LAST CHAPTER! NO FAIR KNOWING THAT DUMBLEDORE DIES." I was with my son, so violence was out of the question.

I was an assistant manager at Waldenbooks for a few years and we used to read books pre-release. We NEVER would have said anything so stupid as that saleswoman. We'd have been fired the next day. I wonder if B&N has the same policy.

At the grocery my son was flipping through chapters. He had tears in his eyes when he told me about the white tomb. Of course he's not allowed to read the book until he gets through books 4 and 5.

Find out.
