Hmmm...I'd forgotten about that remark. I might have to re-read OoTP again, too. :)

I need to re-read all of them. JKR leaves waaaaaaaaay too many clues to be detected in just one or two readings.

You know, I think I read that article on-line already. I thought I might get hit, too, so I didn't post a link to it. LOL!!

For some reason I pictured the labyrinth to be so much smaller. Like a Midwestern corn maze. LMAO! Don't ask why, cause it makes so much more sense that it is huge. I love how it looks on the previews.

I wonder... could Scrimgeour be... a Death Eater?

Wouldn't that be something?? Hopefully he's just a nosey busy-body, but who knows.

Yeah, very true. Yikes, that's a lot of reading to do, isn't it? :)

BTW, what I know of Latin wouldn't fit in a thimble...what does your tagline say?

It looks awesome...I showed the trailer to my boys, and they were open-mouthed. :) They are only four and five, though, so I will have to go see Goblet of Fire by myself first, before I know whether or not to take them.

I debated pretty hard before allowing them to watch Prisoner of Azkaban. If Goblet of Fire is scarier, they'll just have to wait until they're older to see it.

Yeah, it might be. From the little bit I read about the screening of GOF a lot of the special effects aren't done yet, but one thing that was done was that Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) looks very scary and the few kids who were there actually screamed.

(Gleefully rubbing my hands together) I can't wait! LOL

POA was on the IMAX and it was sooo cool! I'm really hoping GOF will be, too. I may have to "up my geek cred" (stolen from Freeper Junior) and order our tickets in advance. We went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on the IMAX last weekend and it was totally sold out! If that was that big of a draw, I can't imagine what Harry Potter will be like.

Ah, I know it's gonna be HUGE! :)

I had heard that it was kind of scary, but I didn't know that the kids there (no doubt older than my guys) screamed. If that's the case, they are SOL. My five year old was freaked out a bit when Lupin changed into his werewolf form...this sounds worse.

My b-day is in November, so maybe they'll release it then! :) Ha ha..I can hope! Besides, that's one way I can manage to go see it in the theater, instead of waiting till it comes out on DVD, like I did with the others.

Well, IIRC, Lucius Malfoy works in the Ministry, so I don't think it would be all that far-fetched to have a Death-Eater amongst the Aurors...after all, I don't think they "caught" all that many, and I doubt all of them stopped practicing the Dark Arts even after publicly renouncing Voldermort.

Yet more food for thought!

One would hope the Ministry is checking their employees for Dark Marks... :-)

Yeah, it was really creepy when he turned into a werewolf.

I've heard 2 different release dates, 11/18 and 11/23, I'm not sure which is correct. 11/18 is a Thursday and 11/23 is the day before Thanksgiving.

Okay, this is a horribly stupid question, but what exactly does Lucius Malfoy do for a living?? Has she ever said? He's always at the Ministry, but I don't remember ever hearing a job mentioned.

I've never heard a job mentioned. He probably inherited a load of gold and doesn't need to.

Hee hee. But from what I understand, the Mark goes away until Voldy calls them. That leaves some wiggle room. :)

BTW, I am not 100% on Malfoy working at the Ministry. I just got that from Chamber of Secrets (the movie, that is) when the Malfoys and the Weasly's have that showdown in Flourish and Blotts! :)

I am quite likely wrong, since now that you mention it, I don't recall JK mentioning a job for him at all, other than being a school governor. That line from the movie "See you at work" is probably just a throwaway line, anyway.

I heard Lucius was a mod over at DU.

Yeah, if he can buy top-of-the-line brooms for the entire Slytherin Quidditch team, he probably doesn't need a job. I thought he did work at the Ministry, though. Speaking which, the Weasleys must be doing better financially... what with Bill, Charlie, the twins and even that prat Percy all grown & working on their own, plus Arthur's promotion.

Well, those dates are pretty darn close, so I'll take it. :)

Yes, Lupin's transformation was really creepy, and that's the part that gave me pause when I was considering whether or not to let them watch PoA. But he did okay...he asked to watch it again immediately after it was over! :)

LOL! Nah, Lucius is a nasty piece of work, but he's too sane for the likes of them over at DU. :)

LOL! It wouldn't surprise me. They are all Slytherin material over there.
