We currently have 36 gamers playing over 45 different games.

BF2: The Rox server has been really dead last couple of nights.
Probably because it has not been advertising on the master server lists since the 1.02 patch came out. However, you can still connect to it if you know the ip (66.165.122.206).
For now, its almost like having our own personal server (joking) Anyway, I'm headed there now if anyone wants to join in.

Man.... That was a real hoot!... SO CLOSE until we lost a squad member... I was totally exhausted

Next time I hope I get on the same team so we can chat on VOIP. Unfortunately, there were never enough to switch without sides being uneven.

My adrenaline needs replenishing... what a rush!

Being able to voice I think made it possible for us to do a lot better than we would have otherwise. Am I the only one with military background/training? We could be deadly if we trained together as a FULL squad. Imagine 6 M203s all at once on a chopper... hehe... silly rabbit.

I have no military background, however, I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night... :)

Actually, I collect military style weapons (including a Class III) and in the 80's I had a gun shop specializing in them. Now, I just build faster gaming rigs with the latest vid cards and fastest cable connection I can afford.

I will make an effort to get on the same team next time. It will have to be later this week as I have a lot of work over the next couple of days.

Hehe, I got 512 more M of RAM and a 6600GT vid card yesterday. Much better graphics, things I could not see before. Woohoo.

The 6600GT has the most "bang for the buck" when comparing core clock speeds. After a lot of research, that is the one I purchased a couple months ago, also. Nice choice!

Thanks, I have been researching and watching for awhile since the money is not there to build new or accomodate a 6800. The price fell at the local white box shop so I jumped. Are you using the latest drivers or the game supplied?

"Are you using the latest drivers or the game supplied?"

I used the game supplied for the install, but I started getting a "lock-up" after about 3 to 5 minutes into the game after loading for the first time, so I installed the lasted drivers from Nvidia. It didn't fix the problem, I still have a lock-up and have to do a hard re-boot. After that, it rocks! So when you see me join a game and leave quickly, just hang around, I'll be coming back in to stay.

I had to reinstall the game after the new card myself. Weird things happening and a grumpy computer. After the install everything is good at medium. May want to consider.

ROX has a ranked server with a game going. You can type in ROX as server name, then go to ranked server, or try 70.84.103.194:16568

Dang. Too much going on. Maybe tomorrow. Ranked server? Is that the same one we were on yesterday? IP seems diff. Let's try that empty one tomorrow and let me test headset and work on some team/clan manouvers. Dibs on AT.
