Grrr! And invariably the "other guy" isn't around.
DISCLAIMER: This is not to gripe about sysadmins in general - and no offense is indended to the numerous and wonderful sysadmin-types who frequent the hobbit hole. I fully understand it is a difficult and thankless job: customers either hate you or don't even acknowledge you exist.
*snort*
It might have been more 'biting' if the iBook holder was carrying a chair instead of a club.

Oh my!
Well, there's another story brewing and branching off from my support group situation. It involves my church. You know my church has a hugh support group *too* and about half of them went with the new group. The rest of us either didn't join a support group or stayed with BA CHEF.
Well, last year Celeste was a leader in the church group. She's not this year, thankfully. But I just got an email and it's from the leader (a very sweet person.) She says "Last year at the end of the year, the group leaders decided to take a "team" approach to running our support group."
This is exactly how the new support group is set up. They started setting it up that way a couple years ago when it was still my support group.
I can't stand the word team now.
I'm not a team player, I guess.
See, it was the leader, the steering committee (Celeste) and the "team leaders" that decided to split of from CHEF. We have to pay $5 to belong to the church group. What happens if the leader of our church group decides to leave First Baptist and take the money with her? (I would like to say that could never happen but after what happened a few weeks ago, I can't.)
I am FOR SURE going to nail down in the next meeting whether or not the finances are under the authority of FBC BA.
