I like travel. I like feeling that the road may sweep me off somewhere without my say in it...

Came *this* close to just seeing how far north a tank of gas would get me today. Had a minor bout of "what's the point of work and school" on the way back from the airport... just mild homesickness (wrong word, don't care about the place, it's the feeling of belonging I miss). But I didn't. Someday I will just get in the car and drive...

It's entirely possible. I get really blue before I go, but buck up and have a pleasant time once I'm there. Last time I was there I scouted out a great shoe shop. Hopefully this time I'll get a chance to check it out.

Not that I *need* any shoes.
