Good morning!
~sip~
Good morning!
Don't worry - you're better than me... I killed my feet just mowing yesterday.
I'll take that as a compliment since we all know you're above average.
You need to get better shoes. Or inserts. Or somethin'.
Wife says Nana always told her "never buy cheap shoes or cheap bras."
A lot of wisdom there. ;-)
Is one ever enough? ;o)
I keep tellin' her that too, but I have a hard time getting her to ~town~ to go shopping for good shoes.
Well, I don't buy cheap bras... But we won't talk about that...
Garsh Corin, ~blush~ Good morning!
Well, out of all those places I went last night, none of 'em were good shoe places.
Oh bother.... :~D
I've been lurking just 'cause of the popcorn factor. Seem to be three factions, none of which I quite fit into: the Potter fanatics, the Rowling-is-a-lousy-author group, and the unrealistic-fiction-is-evil group.
And because I have to prove every assertion I make because I think everyone thinks I'm lying...

Heh heh! I've got pictures of this guy in my college photo album. Pretty nice fellow, but a total dem.
Glenn Beck is talking about this. I sent him an email with the real story link.
I have no real problem with the people who don't like Harry Potter or who don't want their kids to read it. But I can't stand it when people make judgments based on faulty information.
Removing the meat chicken's feed at 6pm tonight. That way their system will be pretty well cleared out by morning.
Is this their last day on earth, then?
That's right...tomorrow morning early is "P-Day".
Izzit ten o'clock yet? Izzit ten o'clock yet? Izzit ten o'clock yet?
I can't wait for this book sale! I just hope it's like the ones we have back home. They said it's in the "community room", which worries me. The one back home was always in a gym, and to me, community room sounds like something small. Maybe it's a hall, though.
I love book sales!
Our library, which is massive, has an entire section of books for sale, all the time!
So does our library...though it tends to have more non-fiction.
This sale is all donated books, so there should be more variety, and they'll be cheap! Usually at such things I try to find any classics I don't already own, plus mysteries. For a dime, I can even pick up stuff by authors I'm less than sure of. I can always pass it on or pitch it if I don't like it.
It was more of a big deal at home in some ways, I suppose, because the library itself had such a poor selection. So...sometimes that was the only way to find new authors.
Heh...last one at home I spent about thirteen dollars (which admittedly was a fortune to me at the time) and got something like three big paper sacks FULL of books. Mostly paperbacks, a lot of which I donated to various places when I left. But it kept me in reading material for a good long time! And I picked up a lot of Dickens. I know critics are often hard on his writing, but I like it.
It's dread, mon.
