Heh....my mater's are blooming like crazy (and so are the peppers) but I've had maybe three cherry tomatoes so far.
The daylilies that the varmints haven't et yet are putting out more foliage and some bug is eatin' your coneflower.
*sigh*
Miss Cat is sleeping in my laptop case again.
Did you watch the movie at all, or just have a quiet evening together?
We just flipped around till 9, then watched a marathon of South Park.
Coincidentally, in one episode, they went to Fort Collins. :~D
Watching Bridget Jones, here.
I see that on the TV schedule a lot, but have never watched it.... what's it about?
It's a romantic comedy based on a reinterpretation of Sense and Sensibility. It's about a sweet 30-something single girl named Bridget Jones who fusses about being single, her weight, and her vices. She makes sticking one's foot in one's mouth high art and is torn between two guys. One is an absolute cad (Hugh Grant) the other is respectable but a bit uptight and distant (Colin Firth). It's brilliantly written - full of laughs and cringes.
Oh dear. Why were they in Fort Collins?
OK - I'll give it a go one of these times.... when I think ecurbh can endure a chick flick ;~D
You don't really want to know ;~D
Ok, just remember it probably wasn't an accurate portrayal of this town.
(I can only watch it when Big'ol isn't home.)
Well, I ~have~ been making you watch lots of James Bond lately... guess we'll be due for some payback. ;~D
I bet it was an accurate portrayal of the town... It wasn't the town that was screwed up, it was their reason for being there :~D
Whoohoo, glad to hear the 'maters and peppers are still trying to put on a good show.
Varmint bug on the coneflower? Don't know, never had that problem. Ours are still looking good. The Joepye has put on great feathered heads this year. The bees love them, course they like the rose-of-sharon too.
Ack! I am so burnt out on James Bond (and probably will be for years to come). So completely burnt out. Ugh.
I didn't know it was possible for one to burn out on James Bond. The good ones, at least.
Nnngh, chick flicks.
I need to get a dust gun from somewhere...
Trust me. It's possible. I used to love Bond.
