LOL, that reminds me... bittygirl has been trying to plug and unplug all our lamps and alarms clocks.
Last night at bathtime she kept sticking her fingers up the spout to see where the water was coming from. Day before yesterday, I put together a storage cabinet for elf-boy's room. She got hold of the screw driver and proceeded to "help". Now, at dinner time we have her trained to "get in your chair" (She eats in her walker and can get in and out of it on her own).
Remember she is barely 15 months old.
LOL is that Tigger?
Hehehe....
Sorry about all of this 2J, I had a feeling there would be reverberations that affect yor church group. When so many in the group are/were members of both groups there will most likely be some hard feelings in the mix.
Have you been able to talk to Celeste friend to friend yet?
yep
Dobie was before my time too. I watched the reruns. Same thing with I Love Lucy and the Patty Duke Show. That was some good TV back then. Miss it. We don't do TV much anymore. It's all trash.
Now I've got the Tigger song stuck in my head.
*sigh*
As if life wasn't hard enough, I hadda go and cut the pinky finger on my fretting hand.
I rarely ever watch TV other than HGTV. And that's usually just on in the background when I'm online. Wife and I have already declared that on weekdays, once school starts, no TV in the house will be on until after Luke is in bed.
** Women and children to be hit hardest. **
Oh that's funny.
My dad used to anonymously draw cartoons of people he worked with and post them on the lounge corkboard for all to see. Some of them were *really* funny. None of them were obnoxious enough to make anyone upset.
Wonder what he would have drawn regarding your closet case... LOL!
I think at least basic cross training is a good idea...stuff like dealing with print queues, if needed, or maybe password resets and such like. It's really frustrating to work with a "team" where people hoard knowledge, IMO, and I've worked a few places where that was the case.
We have reached a wolrd record. Well, at least a record in our house. The TV has not been turn on since Monday.
world?
It reminded me of the maroons we saw in Yellowstone who would get out of their cars, walk up near a HUGH elk, turn their backs on it, and get their friends to take their picture.
"Hey y'all watch this"!
Ruh Roh. You got a curious one, huh?
No. She is unrepentant. She still feels like they did nothing wrong. (This according to the ladies that attended the "information meeting" they had the other night.) She believes that BA CHEF no longer exists, that we aren't BA CHEF re-organized, but a brand new support group.
She told me to my face that if I had any doubts about the way things were handled I should not join their support group. In other words, if I question what she did, I should get lost.
At that moment, it became obvious that the person I thought she was and that I was friends with did not even exist. It was an act. A sham. Had I known that this was the way she was, I wouldn't have been friends with her in the first place.
There were hints, though...and the HH knows about some of them. Like the time she wouldn't watch the jedis for me so Steve and I could go see Hitchhiker's Guide. She said she'd have to check and see if the movie was "all right" first. This, after I had taken her son *and daughter* to Latin for weeks on end when she was feeling sick. Her daughter didn't even take Latin...I just took her to give Celeste a break!
Then, she calls me up and asks if I could watch her kids while she and Andrew go to a deacon's fellowship (aka party). "Sure," says I, because I'm a good friend. "What time should I be at your house?" "Oh no!" says she. "I'm bringing them over to your house so they can swim." I thought "What nerve!" but didn't say anything, because I knew my own kids would enjoy it so.
So there were hints and suggestions of this part of her personality, but I blew them off as quirks.
What was your pinky fretting about? ;o)
That's SO perfect for your situation, 2J!
*sigh*
Now? Because it can't play mando or guitar. Leastways not without extreme care.
Why couldn't it have been the RIGHT hand? Not fair.
