That's an amazing picture...
Be a good one to post on a zot thread.
That's what I thought too.... If I wasn't really tired of zot threads :~D
Dressed with a light oil-balsamic vinagrette.
Light, warm and a little spicy. Served in the fur.
...for a unique texture that lingers on the palate.
Hey Ruthy...remember when you posting that farm and ranch real estate stuff? What was the link?
From last night....
Now that I think about it, it was the Medicis that started with the pawnshop, not the Borgias.
My mistake.
One family of Italian politicians is much like another.
Yawn. Good morning! I've got to start getting up a bit early, with school starting soon.
LOL! I love it!
Peep research (not one I'd seen before...)
2J - note their choice of vehicle ;-)
Looks like you might have some isolated t-storms over the weekend, but otherwise the temps look like beach weather! The clouds will keep that direct sun off of you!
I took a pic of a VW parked near my friend's house in Tokyo. When I get the pics uploaded to York, I'll link them and you can see it. It was a powder blue, and it looked like it was in nice condition. It never moved the whole time we were there, so I don't know if the folks just didn't use it that much, or were out of town, or what. Some folks will keep a car, just to have one for going out of town, etc, but will use the Metro for the most part day to day.
You know, other countries still make the old classic look Beetle. It's actually still in production, but the US won't allow it because of safety and emissions reasons. It's why you can still get replacement parts fairly cheaply! As long as your Beetle chassis number shows the car to be 1979 or before, you can register and drive it.
But in other countries there are brand new classic-look Beetles. Mexico, for one. You can go and buy a brand new Beetle in Mexico. Brazil too, I think. I wonder if Japan allows the new ones and that is what you were seeing?
Good morning!

Soo... looks like your web server finally got un-munged. That's nice.
Hey... something's happened to my tagline... what the?
Yah, everything's back to normal now. 'Twas just a pothole in the information superhighway.
Heh. Yah, and this is the point when, if this had happened to say... our company site... I get an obnoxious and profanity-embroidered message from The Balrog demanding to see my "plan" for keeping this from ever happening again.
Yup. I'll get right on that. Hehehe...
Yeah, and while you're at it, could you stop the tide too?
Heh! I like it!
Well, slowly but surely the ladies that caused the split in my organization are leaving the BA CHEF egroup. I guess they've figured out there won't be any angry emails posted for them to use as fodder or any emails filled with despair for them to gloat over. And I won't allow anything that's pro "their group" to be posted...so what's the point of them staying.
And make the sun stay up a bit later this evening? I have a business associate I want to show around town, and his flight doesn't get in until after six. It'd be more convenient if the sun'd stay up until ten or so.
