You know, she probably was a good hunter. We rescued her. She had been living outside a business with some dogs and the people there had been throwing out scraps.
But she's very skittish. She likes to be a lap cat, but does not like you to pick her up. Even after nine years she won't tolerate that.
Ramius's kitty can climb trees too. She's declawed in the front but has claws in the back... and she can use the back ones to reach up and claw ya. She's a scrappy thing.
Cats, bah. If they catch mice, they earn their keep. Otherwise they'd better be pretty darn friendly.
WOW! What an image!
I'm so proud!

Morning All - looks like another beautiful day, animals fed, coffee brewing and various and sundry opportunities abound.

Morning... sigh... up early to take my sister back... funtime's over, got to get back to real life now.
Miss Cat has had her morning medicine. I need to get the coffee brewing and decide what to have for breakfast.
Did some trimming along the fence line yesterday....took down that branch that was practically laying on the phone line. I think I need to get a Saws-All or something.

Late Sunday night Tokyo funkle!
We're sitting here watching Formula One racing from Hungary being called by Japanese commentators. Strange.
Re: the side yard landscaping: See if you can get a few larger ( 6-8") river rocks to put in there, too. It will look more natural with a mix of sizes of rocks. Make it kind of meander along the side yard.
I love the taste of blackberries, but biting into the seeds hurts my teeth!
Great horsey pictures. I'll bet that was scary with the horse getting spooked! Glad you were safe.
OK, so how's the school thing going? Is he getting ready to get the thesis all done?
OT-think electric chainsaw, costs about the same and ours has lasted for about 15 years. Ours is Craftsman.
Jen, glad your sister had a good visit, you think she'll emigrate as well?
Okay...will check 'em out.
I've got a few trees on that fence with diameters ranging from 1 1/2 to about 5 inches that I'd like to take out. Or maybe I should stick with the handsaw...I could use the exercise. :)
