Yup. Kind of sentimental, too. Some of those people would have been fun, I think. But I still have time and lots of stuff on my to-do list.
SSQ's parents made an agreement that the first one to leave had to take the kids. They had six. ;o)
Mmmm...sourdough...
I've also been craving some nice whole wheat bread...something good and hearty, maybe with some sunflower seeds in it. Maybe I'll make some while Jen is gone. ;-) I can use some of the yeast you gave us!
I once had a lady I worked with ask me if I was interested in a menage with she and her husband. I'm not kidding you one single bit.
"It woulda changed everything. I'd have to dress different. I'd have to act different. I'd have to get all kinds of robes and lotions and I'd need a new bedspread and new curtains I'd have to get thick carpeting and weirdo lighting. I'd have to get new friends. I'd have to get orgy friends. ... Naw, I wasn't ready for it." ;-)
nuff lurkin. I am off to catch a plane back to Iowa. See y'all later.
Eeeewie!
Mmm... bread....
Yeah. I was pretty appalled.
I mean, sure...I'm adventurous. But I'm also conservative and she seemed to have missed that part of my personality.
It was weird.
Who can remember?
(shut up Jen)
Well, I'm gave it careful consideration and didn't make a knee-jerk decision. ;~D
If you get the wife first, you can kiss the Global Dominion goodbye...
Heh heh...you know that quote is form Seinfeld...I think of that situation whenever I see that particular episode.
TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
I already snarked on that one...
errr... I'm ~glad you~ gave it careful consideration and didn't make a knee-jerk decision. ;~D
I figured that's what you meant.
How long have we been friends?
;-)
See ya later, I'm off to the store.
My poet! ~smooch~
And then there was that cult thing that really screwed things up...
