I prolly should be more specific though, I think rather than "theology" I'd prefer Church History...
Trying, huh? Have you gotten to the point where you just want to slap everybody upside the head?
No, will I?
I listened to the first one on a trip to Kentucky. But I've not really gotten into reading them. It's a bit intimidating having them all in one volume.
Guess it depends on how much patience you've got. By the end I was wanting him to pull a Corleone on all his relatives.
Oh...if that's what you mean, I'm there already...
I'm starting to get catalogs and emails from the bulb companies.
I'm going to be broke if I buy everything I want.
I still haven't planted collards yet. It seemed like it was a bit too hot last week. I'm wondering if I should start them indoors or not.
Yup, I agree. That's the way to go.
Ungh. Just spent almost three hours moving furniture, books, cabinets and computers between about five different offices. I huuuurt.
Amber's good. Clueless about good church history resources, let me know if you find one.
Hmm, how about a nice history of the Manhattan Project? I've read some good ones.... it's gonna be the anniversary right around then...
Hey, you know what? My pool looks great, sparkling clean water. The only problems I have with it is that debris fell in it the other day when a storm blew through and it always has a bit of silt in the bottom that is just the way our dirt is...very silty and sandy. The filter pump picks up a lot but it still accumulates around the edges.
So I have this vacuum that attaches to a telescoping pole and my water hose. I don't know how it works exactly, but when I turn on the water hose, it causes the vacuum to draw up debris off the bottom and deposits it in a muslin bag that is tied on to it. It worked pretty good except it didn't pick up the silt, it just blew through the muslin.
So I got a hole in my muslin bag and it was blowing out chunks of leaves and debris and not working at all.
So I sat down and thinked about it, you know...
I came up with the idea of tying a knee-high stocking on in place of the muslin bag. It worked GREAT!!!!! It even caught the silt!! The pool looks absolutely spotless!
That's a thought. I was thinking more pre-1900s, but still...
As for the church history, I'm not gonna get it all read in one week, so I need to figure out which segment/era I want to read about.
Er... I meant what does not 'kill' you.
For anyone that has played an RTS game.

I have a question, Master winmag....
What is the deal with PayPal "e-checks"? Why would someone opt to be paid with one and not an instant transfer?
I had one that I had to use to pay for a book and it took all week to clear...all my other purchases are already shipped and this lady's waiting for an e-check to clear. Perhaps if I knew her reasoning it would make more sense. She requested "e-checks only" when I won the auction.
I'm thinking about taking the next bus to go drop off that application. Any chance you'll be getting off two thirty-ish? Or will you be gone by then?
Yeah, horribly maimed is about it...
I figure five+ hours, half at hard labor, is fair enough, I'll make up the extra half hour later. Used up all my let's-be-kind attitude on the bookshelves.
I believe an e-check is a direct transfer from a bank account, as opposed to a credit or debit card payment.
I can understand her not wanting to take debit/credit cards because of that fee, but I wonder what the common reason is for taking an e-check instead of opting for the faster "Instant Transfer" which is free?
There's gotta be a common reason, or PayPal wouldn't offer the option...I just can't figure out what it would be.
I know that an instant transfer is where they debit your account for the money and give it right away to the person you're transfering the money to, even before it clears your bank, because you have back-up funds in place if your bank declines to pay.
An e-check is where they debit your account for the money and wait to pay the person you're transferring money to until it clears your bank. You don't have to have back-up funds in place.
Both are free, I just don't know why someone wouldn't want to go ahead with the instant transfer since it seems just as safe...
