*sigh* Hope it doesn't rain.
I'm not looking forward to filling out another lonnnnnng form by hand. Essay questions...goody. You'd think at LEAST they'd have these forms in e-format to make this easier. But nooooooooo.
If you wait and come up on the 1:45 bus, I'll ride you home.
Oh, OK...I can do that. Where would I need to meet you if I did?
I'm mostly worried it's gonna rain...it's a bit of a walk from the bus station to Student Services.
If we did ride back together, we should stop at the wine store.
Oh, yeah.... wine...
Ok, you know where the oval is, right? Go to the top of that and cross the street (Laurel) and keep heading away from campus. The World's Ugliest Building is on the left, call me when you get there, from the lobby.
~waving back~
Yeah!
So...you're getting off at about two forty five?
Or did you mean the 12:45 bus?
12:45 is fine. It'll get you here at 1:15, won't take you long... yeah, I'd like leaving before twoish. Sounds good.
I killed it...
Heh....
Just countin' time til Rosie shows up and we can go buy wine.
mmmmm....whine...
It's hot here and getting hotter. Heat advisory today and for the next three days (at least). Supposed to get in the upper 90s or above with heat index of 115-ish. All that with 52% humidity.
But I know we're not the only ones experiencing this.
Actually we're only supposed to get into the seventies for one glorious day, tomorrow.
Now, up in the mountains, it's ten degrees cooler... sister and I saw lots of nice open spots and round hills that would make great Hobbit Holes...
The local weather weenie sez a cold front is supposed to come through tonight and we're not supposed to get out of the 70's tomorrow.
We're up to 97 now and I see y'all are too...
But it's a dry heat! At least it's drier than back home.
It ain't dry here. And I just heard that a plant about 20 miles from here had a major nitric acid spill. No threat here, but that area has been evacuated and there's a hugh yellow cloud.
Nasty stuff! Hope the wind isn't blowing your way.
I don't think there ~is~ any wind.
