Depends. Helen Thomas would be a pet peeve barf-alert. Helen Hunt would be a semi-peeve. She's a liberal airhead but I wouldn't feel compelled to kick her out of bed immediately.

There is a very serviceable phrase already in use for the misused "hopefully."
One hopes you can guess what it is.

When we lived in Fresno, a driver would make a left turn against a fresh red light indicating to the following 7 drivers that they could do the same.

Anyone who thinks Britney Spears is a musician deserves a lightsaber chop to the ears.
Anyone who thinks that Paris Hilton is anything other than a disease ridden skank deserves a lightsaber chop to the genitals.
Anyone who thinks George Galloway is a principled, decent person deserves to be beaten to death with the lightsaber handle.

CA drivers never heard the rule either.
45 in the fast lane - with their blinker going.
I'm in their trunk with my brights flashing and my horn beeping... okay - maybe not THAT bad.
One time, I actually threw something at the car... nevermind... probably illegal so it wasn't really me.
PS... when I finally had to put my last car to sleep - I was on my third horn and still had the original brakes. No kidding.

People who call you looking for information, then make you wait while they go get something to write with. That reminds me of another one- people who ask you a question and when you are answering them they start speaking with someone else like you aren't even talking.
