Google search North American Community.

You'll see he has no plans to secure the border, he plans to erase them.

Code Orange in Boston, NYC, DC, Atlanta

Unfortunately, it's still Code Green at our borders.

Agreed. Sadly, it may be too late. The left would have a "Hillary" (see cow), if Bush ordered the borders closed. And some Econonazis would gripe too...(closing cheap labor force off from U.S. for awhile).

But yes...shut the borders for awhile....NOW !

While I don't want to be too hasty, I think this is becoming more and more of a necessity nowadays. If the Brits's commitment to fighting terrorism isn't reborn in the wake of these attacks then the U.S. is alone, aside from Israel and Japan, and likely Australia (Israel and Australia having moderate-severe problems of their own). We need to look at the borders again, if nothing else, and check for weaknesses.

When I woke up this morning and turned the tv on, I heard that there were suicide bombings. I honestly thought it was here in the US because I'm quite certain this will happen here.

Yes. Let's speed up the withdrawal of those armored and mechanized brigades in Germany. Put them, along with brigades already in CONUS, on our southern border. And when these brigades get to the border I don't want them just sitting in garrison. I want them patrolling the border with a basic load of ammunition and orders to waste anything crossing the fence.

Actually, it's already too late. But it might stop additional bloodshed.

Actually instead of being "concerned" of hard working Christians picking vegetables and building buildings, maybe you should concern yourself with home grown Americans, who see America as the enemy.

Today, as six months ago(from 9/11), we remain concerned that many among us do not have adequate shelter and healthcare, that too many of us do not make a living wage that our children's schools are substandard and under-funded, and that life-saving drugs are not readily available to those with chronic or life-threatening illnesses. We remain concerned that too many of us are pulled over for driving or flying while black or brown. Still others face harassment, physical violence and discrimination on the street, at their place of worship, or at their workplace for the color of their skin or their perceived religion. We remain concerned that those gay, lesbian and bisexual people that serve in our military are at risk, that not all who wish to serve can, and that the blood of our gay, bisexual and Haitian brothers is automatically screened from the blood supply.

But more than this, we are concerned that there are too many among us who are ridiculed or threatened for asking questions, for speaking their truths, and for believing in a worldwide nonviolent movement for social justice and social change. As the so-called war on terrorism grows with planned strikes in Georgia, Yemen and the Philippines, it is up to each of to ask our government to be accountable for its actions. As the number of detainees held without charge or trial in American jail cells remains constant, it is up to us to ask our government the hard questions. From America's largest cities to its rural towns, a government that uses patriotism to silence its critics silences each of us.

LINK

BTW I am all for a documented guest worker program where good hard working people are allowed to work(but not citizenship) and gets rid of the immigration mess we have today.

I'm afriad that it is too late for him.

He's already made his choices. And as right as he is on many issues, he's dead wrong on this one.

This will cheer you up.

A fine outstanding person I know, with impeccable credentials, married to a US citizen, jumped thru all the hoops, and has been waiting for over a year for the CIS (ex-INS) to make a decision on her status.

These are the same morons, who gave the blind WTC Sheik a green card AFTER he had an illegal status, and who bested themselves by renewing Mo Atta's visa 6 months AFTER September 11, 2001.

God Help us all.

Until the Federal, State, and local governments get serious about border control we will not be able to properly access what our options are, and money is not the issue here.

I'm afraid the voice of the American public has fallen on deaf ears and the only thing that will move the politicians, and I mean all of the politicians is a threat to their own safety or the safety of their families not ours. For that to happen it would require more than a bomb at a local mall or airport, it would require a massive death toll on our part.

Right after President Bush decides to do something about securing our borders, he's going to stop by your house and mow your lawn.
