This was filmed on a llama ranch and features Cart Pulling, Fiber, Youth, A Breeding Farm, Back Packing, etc.
It shows the versatility of owning llamas and all the things they can be used for. This was put together and Sponsored by the Lama Futurity Association for the promotion of llamas.
We want everyone we can to watch this and tell your neighbors and friends.
We want them to see a high volume of viewers so they will want to rerun this again in 13 weeks.
The LFA BOD & the ILR
I like the graphic a lot.
Can't get RFD TV in Southfield. Guess I'll just have to catch "Dutchess: Llama" on Animal Planet.
Too bad, because "Cowboy Chicks" comes on tomorrow afternoon, too.
Oh thank you!
I'm going to pass that link to the kids!
Ah well.
Sorry about that.
I'll keep an eye out for "Dutchess".
Back in a while, people!
The Kid is agitating to go to the pool.
How did I miss the PushmePullyu I will never know. LOL! Does it reflect their personality in any way?
I don't know any llamas.
Farmers up the street have one guarding their chickens because it is quieter than a dog, but we haven't been formally introduced.
Woe to anything insane enough to try to harm those chickens.
You noticed, I'm sure, that it was spelled LLama, and not Llama?
Actually, llamas are so fierce and protective, that farmers here in Michigan will keep a pair with the flocks of sheep to keep the buzzards and the coyotes away.
Honest.
"LLama" was my mistake.
Noticed it right after I punched "post".
I'm blaming it on Darksheare's Syndrome
Yep!
That's the critter!
Thanks!
Thanks! We used to watch RFD-TV, when we had cable. If we ever move to the farm, we can get llamas :-).
Yes! Thanks!
Some of the kids in the Ann Arbor 4-H llama club have alpacas. (Our club just has llamas and a goat or two)
I see the "I Love Alpaca" ads all of the time on FOX.
Let's post their link!

You know? For a larger animal, they really are easy to carefor, inexpensive and nice with kids.
(Despite my villifying them, MOST llamas really are NOT Evil)
AND you don't need a LOT of land to have a few llamas.
You ever want a hook-up with a 4-H club or are looking to buy some llamas, LMK.
We're not allowed to have livestock in our subdivision, but maybe the state will Eminent Domain us for the new turnpike, and then Der Prinz will see the light and move to the farm.
I'd love to have a source of fibers for spinning and weaving. We talked about getting some angora rabbits, before we moved from Oklahoma, but with the Rottweilers next door here, they'd probably have conniptions and die! I made some scarves with rabbit yarn a few years back; it is so light and warm.
