They have been playing the movie on the tube here recently.
What a great movie that is! We could use a few more like it.
I am sorry Christoher Reeve died.
Does anyone remember when he died during the election and Kerry used his death as a means to promote stem cells?
Remember when Kerry said he spoke with him on the phone? WHAT A LIE....Christopher would have NOT been able to speak with him on the phone at the time Kerry said.
BTW, I don't know if anyone heard...it was a little known fact but Kerry was a vietnam war hero with 3 purple hearts!!!!
Have another drink, Harry.
... stay away from the car and keep your clothes on in the back yard.
For less than ten minutes of screen time Brando received $3.7 million on top of 11.3% of the gross receipts.

Not necessarily. ;)
Have to admit I have a fondness for this movie. I took my brothers kids to it, when they were about 10-12. I turned my mental circuits off and enjoyed the movie with them.
It was a great experience. And a fond memory for me.
Slowly but surely it's become my favorite soundtrack.
It's been restored, but it's now an audio travesty, however. I'm not speaking of the music, though, except for the goofy add-on when the additional credits were added. Would've made more sense to have the Love Theme play unedited, slow the credits down to match instead.
The sound effects aren't enhanced. So many are completely new, and they didn't even try to get close to the original sounds. Dang George Lucas, Spielberg, and their kind.
