When I Remember you comes on still to this day I jam it....that song makes me feel 17 again I swear

Did you see that show he did with his wife...can't remember which channel it came on...he was married to her way back then when all of us were drooling...they have a 15 or 16 year old son..I couldn't believe it...

Yep. Ballet moves and all, Winger put out the effort. He drew in some pretty incredible looking girls, too. Not too shabby for 17yr old high school boys to hope for sloppy seconds with. LOL

An unusual combo indeed. I'd pay big $$$ for front row seats though! ;o)

I think I'm going to play "I Remember You" right now. And I'll try my best not to get teary-eyed like I did when I was a teenager. :-)

I had no idea that he was married back then. I'm surprised that he and his wife survived those years.

Isn't Anthrax "speed metal"? I'm unfamiliar with their music.

David Lee Roth's worse career move was to leave Van Halen. What a lemon!

I've seen Santana and Heart in their heyday. Both were very good!

True, but he came out of the closet before that I think. I prefer Liberace for my choice of gay piano players! LOL

The saving grace of bubblegum metal (aka hair metal) was it brought in the chicks, and a lot of them got into real metal too. I'm right in that age group that remembers the transition, before Bon Jovi and company the only girls at metal shows were taken and usually bored out of their skulls, after there were actually girls at metal shows having fun and available. You still wouldn't find as many girls at an AC/DC show as you would at Winger, but there were a lot more than before the the invasion of the ozone destroyers.

Iggy Pop's "Repoman" is "our song" for my wife and I. The modern world.

Great story! Eric Burdon went downhill quick after disbanding the Animals. They reunited in 1977 and I saw them in 1978 or 79. They were very good. I was shocked!
