We will not falter, we will not tire, we will not fail.
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Post your short news items, issues of interest, links, and so on. All who advance the Cause are welcome.
Welcome to ATRW. It's always nice to have like minded people drop in. We hope you'll visit us often.
Happy to hear you are taking a break from the heat. We often get carried away with our projects due to schedules and suffer later.
Here you go. A nice tall cold glass of iced tea.
Of course, she worked too and left at 6:30 am. So maybe that 's why she wanted dinner to over early! LOL!!
We watched the rerun last night. Hadn't seen it before.
LOL at the "foot" jokes hubby and D. made. D. has 2 stress fractures on his right foot. Asking him about his foot will never be the same.
You are such a good hostess!
I really wanted to get outside to weed one bed today, but it is an area..large area.. that has direct southern exposure. I may do it later this evening if the derr fly leave me alone.
Oh my you are right about the foot. LOL
Thank you.

That's good news Duke. GLad to hear it. The next step is out the door for her!
She had a reputation for screaming at students and "losing it" quite frequently. The problem is that the union protects problems like this.
When our middle child was in the 7th grade her home room teacher was from Columbia. Spoke very broken English. She was a tyrant.
She called one night and flat out lied to me and my husband about our daughter. Hubby went straight to the principal's office and the principal called in everyone concerned. He got her to admit she lied about our daughter. However, she refused to apologize.
At the end- of- year picnic, I found out, we were one of dozens of families she had called almost nightly. She had serious mental issues.
AND she is still teaching.
When my brother was in kindergarten, his teacher put him in a dark closet because he cried for my mother. I sem to remember to her leaving the school district then. Thta was 47 years ago - my how things have changed!
Good morning all. I just stayed the weekend in our new home and have flown back to San Diego to help my darling husband close down his medical practice and to oversee the loading of the final moving van on the 11th of July. I'll be on a one way flight, (no return ticket) on the 14th of July with our Pug dog Jack.
The house is finished inside and the exterior painting is underway. Hottie Tootie colors for our painted lady. I wish I had a scanner, because our fence getting painted was featured in last Wednesday's Vickburg Post on page B-3 which cannot be seen in the on-line edition.
I did a reassessment over the weekend of what all we were planning to bring on that last moving van and decided to leave even more possessions behind, so I'll called the American Veterans and will need to get the stuff ready for them to pick up tomorrow morning.
Dolly, I can't place particular area where your "kinfolk" lived...but give me a month and I'll be a know it all...lol.
Hope everybody here is well and happy. I'm going to go back and read all the comments before I commence with my chores.
Busy times ahead of you.
Don't work too hard.
I packed all my radios (boom boxes) so I can't listen to Rush. I bet this is a hoot to hear.
We had big storms that knocked us off line. Amazing how much I can get done when I can't freep.
I'm sorry to hear about D's problems with his singular, kassie. It's pretty bad when the medication to help with a problem causes serious problems like he's having.
Onyx - good luck with all the moving of your husband's office. And safe travels.
We get awful radio reception at our house for some reason so I only listen to the radio when I'm in the car. Luckily I happened to catch him talking about this story.
Is your hubby retiring or will he be opening a practice in your new home town?
