Good.
Wet outside here too, Kay, but I can't actually SEE rain falling. You are one more lucky gal........DC, both senior Bushes, and your d and gks TOO! You've got a stack of work to do first, but you will be inspired. Bon Voyage next week!
Good for you for not letting her get away with her own self-delusions. I pity the poor 8th graders. Hope Jack has a better time at the next camps, I'm sure he will.
People have been known to die in prison, sometimes mysteriously.
You know, if you stop WATERING it, you don't have to mow as often. I'm running in & out today - I bought a small pool to set up for the kids for the party this weekend, but I can't place it till I get both pavilions laid out. It's work for an hour, into the AC for an hour, then work some more. I should be ready to start filling the pool in a couple more hours, & I'm going to be the first customer.
This could be our driest, hottest June in decades.
Is D off from school..You homeschool, right?
97??? Our high here is only suppose to be 95.
Awwww, that sounds like fun.
Great picture. I have one that is quite similar of my own daughter from a while back. She is a lot bigger now, but still beautiful.
Dancing girls..Ha, love it!
Especially those who harm children.
How FUN for you to see George H.W. and the Silver Fox. please give us a report when you get back.
O my. I never looked at it that way , but you are correct. He showed no remorse, but rather a look of satisfaction.
Yes I home school. Actually D. is taking some time off. He still has about 10 lessons in Alg.II and a few chapters in Biology left. Other than that he has completed this year.
He is ahead in his subjects so I am in no hurry. He reads any science or history like it's a paperback novel. Can't keep in those books.
Good. That gives you a break, too. Is hubby out of town? G is about 3 hours from home....Buffalo area so he can crank the a/c as low as it goes. LOL
My concern is that I will get all the work done but then be too tired to enjoy the benefits ... LOL!
Once you see mom and pop you'll perk right up.
I don't believe I've had the pleasure of speaking with you before. Welcome to the ATRW thread ... :-)
Thanks for the welcome - I'm usually at work, but took this week off to get everything ready for the big July 4 (actually 3) party - we've got family coming in from all over.
I'm trying to get a fence built, two pavilions and a pool set up, and the brick patio I never finished stacked a little more neatly. I had fantasies of painting the house trim & installing edging along the driveway, but those dreams are fading...
Taking my breaks on FR to avoid heatstroke - the high was supposed to be 88 but it's already 93.
