'Idol' singer faces charge
Sacramento Bee ^ | 6/27/5 | R.E. Graswich

Corey Clark, the "American Idol" contestant who claimed to have an affair with contest judge Paula Adbul from the Fox TV talent show, was cited on a charge of misdemeanor domestic violence against his girlfriend Saturday at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in downtown Sacramento, police said.

Clark, 24, was cited and released, police spokesman Sgt. Justin Risley said.

Police were called to the hotel at 13th and J streets after other guests reported hearing a fight in the room shared by Clark and his girlfriend.

"It sounds like a verbal dispute that just got out of hand," Risley said.

The couple were in Sacramento following a concert appearance by Clark at Raley Field in West Sacramento.

A police lieutenant at the scene elected not to book Clark into Sacramento County jail because the injuries did not appear serious and the woman was not specific with her story.

Ya know,
I've never watched AI or any other RTV...

When I had a TV....OK, so when I had ELECTRICITY I was hooked on ABC's Extreme Home Make-over.

But the rest? Don't see the point.

Another domestic violence rap--the only rap Corey is good at.

"It sounds like a verbal dispute that just got out of hand," Risley said.

I bet it was over money--or the lack thereof (his CD, released last week, is currently ranked #13,606 on Amazon.com).

Clark and the woman, 35

And I bet she's a real prize, too.

(Thanks for the ping, Twin :)

FOOD FIGHT!

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/8380327/

SACRAMENTO - Former “American Idol” contestant Corey Clark is in trouble with the law for an alleged food fight.

Sacramento police say Clark was having breakfast with his record company manager, Laura Kathleen Troy, in a hotel room. Police say they began arguing over an incident from Clark’s Friday night concert.

A police spokesman says the argument “ended up as a food fight, throwing dishes.” He says the injuries were minor and both Clark and Troy had scratches on their arms.

What happened to the domestic violence statute that you arrest no matter what?

I like the way this story has evolved. First it was domestic violnce against his girlfriend. Now, it's a business discussion between him and his record company manager. Next, he'll be whispering sweet-nothing in Paula Abdul's ear. Ooops, too late.

Hi, Jonny. Thanks for the ping. Clark's CD debut in the toilet and only has one way to go from here -- down. The guy is pure scum. A thug who got lucky to get as far as he did the season he was on AI.
