This photo supplied by 24/7 Media shows Norfolk terrier Eleanor, right, playing with her new kitty friend, Lil' Joey at the Pet Set doggie day care in Long Beach, Calif., on May 16, 2003. The day care, run by Eleanor's owner, offers overnight stays and dog and cat babysitting during the day for owners who work long hours. The photo by Suzanne Mapes is from a new book, 'Cats 24/7,' by Rick Smolan and David Elliot Cohen. The cat photos in the book are selected from thousands submitted last fall from animal lovers and American photojournalists. The book and a companion dog book, reflecting the diversity of cat and dog life across America, contain more than 500 photos each. (AP Photo/ 24/7 Media, Suzanne Mapes)
[Freepmail me to get on or off the Kitty Ping List.]
That is a GREAT pic.
Looks like an old fart who gets caught in the act with the mistress.
Are those your pets?
I'd frame it and hang it on the wall if it was mine.
Oh those are too cute.
Everyone has great kitty/doggie buddy pics to share.
Hope you have new companions.
My fave dog who has grown OLD with me is now falling over, just put down the 15yr old last year.
I have already started crying about the one now falling over, he is the most nuerotic mama's boy Lab ever known in this town.
I brought home two new pups a year ago and was dumb struck by them as I was not use to normal dog behaviour.
My 15 yr. old I put down last year had been disabled since 9 with arthritic pain and my Lab now was the most agile dog due to his seperation anxiety.
He would hop the fence/deck rails before I could get the van out of the garage before coming back in to get King Vanity and the Labs to go load up.
OMG is that a real dog in the kitty bed?
LOL that is to funny!
Another great pic.
I have kitties but no dog right now. My dog after Andra, Tiny, was ill at 15 and we had to put her to sleep. Since we're in an apartment now, I'll wait for a house for another doggie.
It shows who the real boss is in the house!
As pets, my dogs and cats have gotten along wonderfully. Those two are just playing, but if they weren't, the cat would have the advantage and the dog would know it.
Love all the pic's!
Great way to start the day!!!
Doggy say, "thank you, ma'am; we aim to please."
TCO ping.
Ha!
I guess I'll never get used to normal dog behavior.
Our old lab, Stewart, who, alas died 2 years ago, was Very Weird. I can't even tell you all his strange habits, but he grew up roaming the streets. He could leap tall buildings with a single bound.
A few months after his death, we rescued Bubba from a lab rescue organization.
He too had separation anxiety (along with every other ailment known to man or dog).
He is the most affectionate loving dog ever. A lot of people think Goldens are the most affectionate, but Bubba is something else again.
Did you try Clomicalm? Bubba was on it for years--just now getting off. Tom Cruise probably wouldn't approve, but it helped.
Definitely the cutest thread ever ... )
Golden Retriever. Maybe a yellow lab, but I'd vote golden.
I'm sorry about your old guy's. We had to put down our trusted friends over the last four years. It isn't fair for them to age faster than us.
When we got our new two best friends, we weren't used to the pace of the walk. We were accustomed to going for a mosey, now it's trying to see which direction they went.
Thank you so much for the ping. So much cuteness here I have to go suck on a lemon, LOL.
Sure wish my babies would cuddle like that!
