My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Weird the things one thinks up in the long hours before dawn!
________________________________________________
Watchful Angel
Dark night winds do blow
around the ruins, and Time
and I stand my eternal watch
upon the bastion of eternity
Into the distance, and beyond
I seek the end of my quest
my duty to fulfill, as promised
such must finally come to be
The final moment yet to come
maybe hidden, amid so many others
and only my Master knows for sure
and we know not, or need to, you see
So I watch, and mark Time alone
upon this empty plain, forever
my task is fixed, so I must it do
awaiting Armageddon, to face, not flee

Good morning, Johnn.
Eerie and filled with mystery and haunting. Reminds me of those Gothic stone Angles watching over old ruins.
Very good.

Here's one about my angels...
All Through the Night
Sleep my child and peace attend thee,
All through the night
Guardian angels God will send thee,
All through the night
Soft the drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and dale in slumber sleeping
I my loved ones' watch am keeping,
All through the night
Angels watching, e'er around thee,
All through the night
Midnight slumber close surround thee,
All through the night
Soft the drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and dale in slumber sleeping
I my loved ones' watch am keeping,
All through the night
Angels of our military
All through the night
Keep the watch and guard our safety
All through the night.
While we sleep, peace is protected
Heroes stand, their strength reflected
Honor, duty not neglected
All through the night.

I absolutely love coming into The Lair mornings to find a treasure left by one of our fabulous poets.
See how we gain inspiration from one another?? Fantastic.

Yes, and there are several poets who I have been missing a lot lately...

Yeah me, too. Well, I hope one of these nights/mornings I will find a treasure trove of gifts. I am confident I will..

Giving Her Pleasure
She is silken perfection,
moving with gentle grace.
Her smile inviting in inflection,
in that black silk and delicate lace.
Her body heat is drug-like addictive,
pulling me closer until theres only her.
Without trying, she is truly seductive.
and I love to caress her until she does purr.
I watch her eyes close in ecstasys grip,
as I trace the lines of her body so soft.
I know her every nerve, teased with my lips,
until she is gasping in abandon, emotions aloft.
She gasps, whispering my name over and over,
and I take her higher, slowly, gauging her moment.
Her nails now dig in, response to my tongue, the rover,
her voice soft, demands so sweet, near abandonment.
The edge slips past her and she falls,
through an avalanche of release so intense.
She screams out her deep passions full call,
surrendering to her needs now so immense.
I hold her sweat drenched body in my arms,
as she shudders through explosions within.
She sobs out her feelings, deep and dear charms,
she aches to hold even one, as down she spins.
Her eyes are open, but do they see,
looking into an eternity beyond here.
For she is lost in the moment, like me,
beyond need, and thought, and fear.
She slips into sleep, as I hold her close,
a smile on her face, etched so soft.
Through her slips passions like ghosts,
touching her, holding her quietly aloft.
I watch her face, so relaxed, so at peace,
and I kiss her, as gentle soft as a dream.
She holds me closer, still shaky from release,
safe in my arms, our moment supreme.

No, just ten years a sailor, and married to an angel with smokey eyes and a knowing smile for 34 years. ;^)
To: WayzataJOHNN
LOL
Very nice work. Well, after 34 years I guess you do qualify.
