I just want to know something. Does anyone out there feel like they got cheated by voting for G.W.? I voted for the guy twice and feel like I got screwed.
I want a plan for Iraq, not just unlimited deployments with no end in sight. I want a REAL border policy, like the one Mexico has for IT'S southern border. And yesterday's Supreme Court ruling was the final straw for me.
G.W. can't do much about the Supreme Court's ruling, but he can make recess appointments and at least "persuade" the RINO's to back off for the good of the people. If he wants to. I don't think that he will make ANY recess appointments or thwart the RINO's attempts to subvert Conservative dominance.
I was under the impression that he was a uniter and not a divider. He's dividing his own party in so many ways, and before you call me a troll check out the SCOTUS thread at the top of the News/Activism page.
And this "culture of ownership" apparently belongs to the millionaire developers, foreign nationals who outbid US citizens on homes, and China. I think that they bought UNOCAL today.
I'm not a Democrat. Never. I want a REAL Conservative in office after this guy. That would be a nice shot of penicilin for America.
You're right. Bush is just about a 90 percent failure in the "bully pulpit," mainly because he doesn't use it much on issues that people will really respond to.
I wasn't the one who said he "can't do much about the Supreme Court's ruling." One, he can scream about it all he wants. Two, he can appoint the most hard-core conservative/originalist he can find. Three, he can use the disastrous Kelo case to point out why another hard-core conservative originalist is needed on SCOTUS.
No. I didn't say that. But, maybe what you imply is correct. He's never really pretended to be conservative.
Why was this poster banned????
Uh - who's the Clinton chump??

Republican mutterings over former President George H. W. Bush 's budding friendship with one-time archrival Bill Clinton are growing. What started when President Bush put the two foes on the tsunami relief parade has some GOP-ers worried that the old man and wife Barbara have fallen for Bubba. And now this: Clinton's staying at Bush's Kennebunkport, Maine, summer home during a book tour this month. Why care? Republicans fret that the ties might prompt the Bushes to pull punches against Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton if she runs in 2008.
Unfortunately, it's only the Dem candidates who fake moderation in presidential elections. :-(
Man, that's profound. Hadn't thought of it that way. You're right.
That was a pretty quick banning. I'm a little surprised, even though people were calling for blood right away.
I added another one.
I have no idea. Your telling me was the first I've heard of it.
He's been here Or was here about 2 months...maybe that's why?
Probably
South Dakota.
(That was fun.)
Yeah, gosh, I guess you're right. GWB never has any strategery in mind.
That is really good. Now if we could see this printed above the fold, page 1, on all the major newspapers, we would be going somewhere.
