Ouch!

I was waiting for him to clip something because he kept getting lower to the ground.
I half expected to see leaves fly from a wingtip on a few of his previous passes over the tree.

AFTER the pilot scared the stuffing out of themselves with nearly clipping the tree, lightpoel and building, they left the area quickly.

Wished I had grabbed the wing numbers..

Boy, do I have stories about THAT one...

We had a guy in CA who was intrument rated and flying a Cirrus - which was instrument certified.

This walking brain tumor got lost in the clouds and freaked out. AND PULLED THE HANDLE AND FLOATED TO THE GROUND IN HIS NOW WORTHLESS AIRPLANE (aka bathtub with wings)!!!

What Dasher would have done...
1. contact ATC and ask for directions to clear sky.
OR
2. contact ATC and request IFR Flight to X Airport.
OR...
Pretty much ANYTHING else but YANK the Handle.

PS... I had a friend eject about ten days ago. He's fine - twisted his knee and ankle.

Scares me and I'm fearless.

I'm touched... thank you.

I'll behave and not discuss my interest in firetrucks again.

Lumber Baron and WWII Army Air Corp Vet. Filty rich. Retired. Married. And I hate him. I have the honor of having flown in the back seat of the P-51, (no controls in the backseat), sort of a jumpseat many owners had added. He used to have a B-25 that was polished like a mirror, but he sold it, I've flown right seat on it before, front and backseat on the AT-6 and the T-28. I've soloed the Cub or took a passenger anytime I want to use it.

I wish I was in his will. He was a customer of mine back in the 80's and we just hit it off. Secretly I hate him.

Does he live near by?

I'm open to becoming a kept woman - especially by someone with cool planes.
