I love the Trojan. I have flown one that belongs to a good friend many times. This guy also owns a AT6, a Beech Stagger Wing, and a P-51 !!! And a Cub, a MU2, a Swift, an five or six more at any given time. I hate him.

Saw a guy flying a V tail Doctor Killer near clip himself out on a tree, a lightpole, and a building in that order once.
He hauled into a turn and didn't take into accoutn altitude loss in the turn.
He came real close to ending up crashing into a doctors office complex.
*chuckle*

The V Tail Bonanza is really easy to fly. Turns near the ground require planning in any plane.

So I hear.

This guy was showboating it though, really hauling it over and pretty much goofing off.
He almost paid the ultimate penalty for it.
I'm no pilot, but he looked as if he had just bought the plane.
If he'd sunk just one more foot in the turn he would have cartwheeled into the lightpole and the building.
That I was sitting in a car in the probable debris path was an aside.

My ex= used to call that "shining your ass".
"When you start shining your ass, you die."
He wasn't a poet - but a philosopher.
