I am saddened by the loss of Diamond, Petroni.

I have four feline strays hanging around the yard that I look after, but I still miss Paula.

Cat Lovers know this tenet to be true.
You don't choose a cat. The cat chooses you.
To fill in for parents long gone away
With smiles and laughter until you're both old and gray

Savoring long silent talks at the end of the day.
To keep each other sane is a gift from Above.
And not see wisdom, intelligence and love?

so sad about your kitty. Your cyber FRiends are mourning with you. We lost so many through the years and I can still cry about them, still miss them a lot, each one of them.

Hi Abner! How is Trouble and all of the rest of the crowd? Oh yeah, and how's VOC and Natalie?

LOL! Trouble and all the cats are mostly wonderful... Although Trouble and Blenko had a rather expensive incident with one of my very large decanters.... Trouble was chasing Blenkster and Blenkster got behind the decanter and it went CRASH.... Ruby too one too. Tough to replace....

VOC is fine, I will be seeing Natalie in about an hour...

I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Diamond. My Nermie looks just like her! Nermie will be 16 this year, so I keep wondering how much longer she will be with us. God Bless you!

Not close enough.. We did hear the carnage from the living room though.... The good news??? There are 7 other decanters along that wall.. . Fortunately, no dominos.

The decanters are really cool... about 3 feet tall each.

I also have a 12 year old male cat named Gunner that was just diagnosed with what they call Mega Esophagus. It's very rare in cats and found mostly in dogs. He has trouble processing food past the esophagus and ends up vomiting the food up. They finally diagnosed the problem (was treating him for irritable bowel syndrome) and put him on medication which does seem to be helping. He's lost quite a bit of weight since last fall. I'm hoping he can start putting some of it back on.

So terribly sorry to hear of your loss. I am sure you gave Diamond a great life.

I know how difficult it is to lose a furry purring loved one. Been through it many times myself. No one understands better than a fellow cat worshiper.
