DRUDGE VS BLOOMBERG (vanity)
Posted on 06/12/2005 9:58:05 PM PDT by restornu
Drudge enjoy your stay in Florida and stop cuddling New York City!
In 2012 AD what we experience at this moment might be complete different when the World Olympic takes place and by that time most likely every thing will be under surveillance.....
Matt my dear you are no visionary when Mike encounters opposition he dose not waste time on murmuring he continues to forge ahead and remains true to his concept!
I am a conservative, but I also recognized an admire someone like Bloomberg who is a Secularist who has core convictions and prefers not to engage in gossip and other negative dribble an also as I listen to his words they are focus on manifesting his vision!
I truly feel one could learn something from beings such as Bloomberg, Trump, Bush, Limbaugh, Dr Phil etc.
They all have honored their callings and are always striving to live true to their authentic self!
Don't allow yourself to be blinded by your likes or dislikes of these souls each are different and are giants in their fields!
There are others who have a massed great wealth and prominent but fall short for they have weaken because they lack a core conviction such as Corzinen, Soros and amny more!
TOPICS: Business/Economy; Education; History
KEYWORDS: bunnypancake; nonsequiturs; restornuisalbaby; stunedbeeber
Some I have little in common with but I do admire their ability to continue to reached their goals.
Many write books on trying to pin down this manifestation but these folks are doers they produce!
IMHO

Are you channeling Fenster from The Usual Suspects?

I'd wager that Drudge mocked Bloomberg for trying to waste the taxpayer's money in bringing the Olympics to New York City, and this bloke is rather upset about the whole thing.
Olympics on Manhattan Island? If they actually skim all the condoms out of the Hudson it might actually be worth the trouble, but I doubt it. It was a horrible idea to begin with and kudos to the State of New York for not wanting to sink half a billion dollars into a stadium that likely would end up costing the state upwards of ten billion.
Los Angeles is the model that every Olympic committee should follow. A net surplus, a positive experience for the city - heck, people WANTED the Olympics to come before it was done. Freeways thoughtfully kept from their normal rush hour crush, a city kept generally clean, and some of the lowest crime rates ever recorded.
But then again, I never will expect Bloomberg to understand this. He's looking for a legacy for a tenure that has been between awful on the bottom side and ho-hum on the very pinnacle of the upside. Glad it isn't my tax dollars in question.

Why so many here react in a prejudice frame of mind the faultfinding, underminding mode?
I am not asking to like his securlar stance or where the Olympics should be!
Many of you most likely have let all you inspiration die on the vine, let alone had to courage to bring it too light of day!
It seems many of you have been condition...CAN'T instead of CAN DO!

Still have no idea what you're talking about. With all due respect, I probably shouldn't have posted since it seems to have offended you.
FYI-I'm a Reagan Republican. The word 'can't' doesn't exist in my vocabulary.
