THE BEST AND WORST OF THE 1980s (vanity)
Pissant/SSCPOW Research Center | 6/6/05 | SilentServiceCPOWife & Pissant

Posted on 06/06/2005 10:03:49 AM PDT by pissant

After receiving numerous complaints that the 1970s sucked and were not worthy of a vanity thread, here at the Pissant/CPOWife Research Center we've decided to select a decade that had more worthwhile activities to ponder. Though many positive events developed during the 1980s, there were plenty of stink-bombs as well. To further our research, we encourage everyone to participate in this scientific survey.

Without further ado, the Best and Worst of the 1980s:

John Lennon's "Woman" is not only the worst of the 1980s. His entire solo career is the worst ever from a famous artist!

Thag figured you either fell off the edge of the earth, or that you were goofing off someplace. If something happened to you, Teeny woulda either done it or told us....right?

Thag feels almost back to abnormal....thanks!

Love,
Thag

I missed the OFST stuff too - I was pinged to many comments and caught up when able over the weekend.

I will agree that the boys post half naked babes all the time and we show a little beefcake and they whine like babies - but we should probably get away from pix and get more into humor, etc.

Where were you? Hope you had fun!

PS... after last week's OFST, I thought we could do with more cotton and less skin.

I suppose teeny would have told you if something had happened in between sobs.

I am so glad you are returning to abbeynormal, I was concerned about the effects of the beengay.

Tired. Much work to do.

Ourch!! Dang, they just cracked the whip again.

Kissy,

Bertha

I agree.

I only heard them on my local oh-so-ultra-alternative college radio station.

Blood and Roses is one of the coolest songs ever.

I was a senior in high school when the Challenger exploded. I can remember it, like a picture, in my head, I was in the lunch room and I remember hearing our principal Mr. Boudreaux telling someone what had happened.

Yes, I'm in Louisiana and, that's pronounced "Boo-Droe".
