THE BEST AND WORST OF THE 1980s (vanity)
Pissant/SSCPOW Research Center | 6/6/05 | SilentServiceCPOWife & Pissant

After receiving numerous complaints that the 1970s sucked and were not worthy of a vanity thread, here at the Pissant/CPOWife Research Center we've decided to select a decade that had more worthwhile activities to ponder. Though many positive events developed during the 1980s, there were plenty of stink-bombs as well. To further our research, we encourage everyone to participate in this scientific survey.

Without further ado, the Best and Worst of the 1980s:

Crockett and Tubbs... and the ferrari and gator.

I remember on a Friday night - I was out with a very strange man and he realized that we were going to be late getting home in time to watch Miami Vice, so - he took the Railroad TRACKS HOME!!! Pulled the truck onto the tracks - he said it was a short cut. That was during my "big and stupid" phase. I miss them. ;^)

I'm lucky to be alive today with all the bonehead things we pulled back then.

Plus I thought Jennifer Grey was so cute when she was angry. (and before her nose job. Why, Jennifer, why?)

I liked her in Mr. Mom ... "I'm your babysitter!"

That is Rachel Ward from the movie "Against All Odds". One of Pissant's favorite things from the 80's.

Only a few movie love scenes make me wish I was an actor. I woulda loved to have been Jeff Bridges that day!

You make me feel so old.... I don't even know half of those...

Sorry Baby-girl....didn't mean to do that. I wouldn't have remembered half of them if it wasn't for my younger siblings...

Gotta wear shades. That was bad, but a long way from the worst song of the 1980s!

Rachel was much hotter in Sharkey's Machine.

You might want to discuss that with pissant. :-)
