Not only is he one of my favorite writers, years ago when I wrote him a short note of the "you keep writin' 'em, I'll keep buyin' 'em" variety, he was nice enough to reply.

I have not read it yet. I don't even have it yet. But from the decription I plan on doing so.

PS: I get most of my books from the local public library. ;)

Hi A2 - I liked Cold Fire too! Koontz is creepy but fun to read, and many of his books have familiar Orange County locations.

I recommend Dark Rivers of the Heart from DK to anyone who hasn't read it. Excellent book regarding personal freedoms and overbearance of government.
