"...I actually think they saw me taking pictures and made that last circle for me just so I could."

Excellent. My twin brother, who is an ex Navy guy, tells me that military helicopters love to fly wherever they can find pretty women...

Tulsa. That the ARNG from north Tulsa. We've been waving at them since 9/11 and one day they started circling our house. They've done it quite a few times. We thanked them in a letter and they offered to let us tour their unit. I gave them a few HH knives.

They're a great group of men. We really get a kick out of it when they circle.

I went through Tulsa about a month ago and that's as about as lost as I have ever been.

I gotta go get groceries. Steve's coming home to fix the turbine on the roof that leaks.

Might rain...he's "on call".

Coming from Texas into Tulsa on I-44 I asked a toll taker if there was a by pass. He directed me to one and from there I got completely off track somehow and ended up east bound on 412 in the middle of nowhere.

On reflection though I have been more lost than that. (Cleveland, Ohio)

Yawn. I took a nice nap. Had very strange dreams. Action-movie dreams. Involving bad guys who were going to unleash the new Harry Potter book on the world early.

I don't see how bear watching is going to help.

Well, you've already been there and done that!

Did I tell you I got an e-mail from AmazonUK that our HP British version books wouldn't be delivered until July 27TH!! I cancelled that order for the three, then re-ordered just one, cause Clare really wants a full British set. Joseph and I could care less, so I called our local Borders about 9:45 that night to see if I could pre-order for pick up at the midnight party. Apparently I was just under the wire for the pre-orders; the cut off was that night!

So I have two that we'll pick up at midnight on the 15th, but I'm going to keep them overnight so Clare won't start reading. She and I have to get up at 7:30 the following morning. I'm dropping her off at a Girl Scout yard sale, and I'm going over to Boston to do some GS Leader training. If she starts reading it, she stay up late, and go to sleep late, and I'll never get her up, or if she stays up without sleeping at all, she'll be worthless for working at the yard sale. She's thinking of going down to CT with a friend to ConnectiCon that afternoon, so she might take the book and read it on the way. I told her to read it out loud so her friend, Rebecca, who is driving, can enjoy it too!
