The Hobbit Hole XXII - ...Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Psalm 36:5
Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

Only on 5th Sundays.

Oh that is PERFECT! I just burst into tears when I read it!

I'll get Celeste to help me work something up...she's very talented in regards to this.

AAACK! Go now if you must to Wal-mart.

NEVER go on the 1st of the month! Especially when it's a Friday.

I know.... and I always thought you were just a bystander in a coincidence. You being right on this has caused me to question a few of my other instincts!

Dangit I start to mow and got such a charley horse in one leg I had to stop. I'm drinking some water and took a vitamin... any other ideas on how to fix this fast? It's really frustrating me that I haven't been feeling good enough to even get the exercise I really need.

Sounds like an electrolyte deficiency...pretty common in the hot weather when people perspire more than they normally do.

Bananas are good and OJ.

I wish I had the camera during the first circle...when they came down so close with the side open!

It really is quite a thrill to see them! The honor I feel is just so deep. I can't even describe it. I cry! LOL

I really love to mow! I need the flippin exercise. I tried to just power through it but it just gets worse the more I go. I do intend to try again, I'm downing water.

2J... I don't know if this is related, but my ankles have been swelling too, the past couple of months. I can feel that my whole lower leg is really full of water. If I press and release it leaves a dent. I can bring them down by wearing tight socks and elevating them.... course, I always feel like if I elevate them it'll just pool in my rear end, and who wants that? ;~D

It's embarrassing to bring up, but there it is.

Am I just in lousy lousy shape or what?

I'm really pleased for you!

This emotional roller coaster you've been on today is enough to exhaust me!

You have pitting edema and you need to go to the doctor for a complete checkup. For some reason you're retaining fluid and it's not just a little like is normal for women.

Go to the doctor, sis. It may just be too much sodium in your diet, but if it's a new onset, over the past few months as you say, you really need to check it out.

Now I'm gonna be all worried till you do, so call and get a checkup. When was your last full physical, anyway?

I'm thrilled to have finally got pictures of it. And I'm thrilled that they still remember me!

On Memorial Day, three of them flew right down over house, then doubled back and flew over again. Like our own private fly-over! They didn't exactly circle, too hard to navigate, I guess. But they flew over and made a big turn, then flew back.

The good thing is, Steve got to see it. His first time to seem them fly over in the daytime. He's seen them a couple of times after dark.

She should have a colonoscopy just for the great nap.

So maybe I'm not fat at all, I'm just full of water.

I'm concerned to, have been for some time. Trouble is, it's not that simple for me to just go to the doctor right now, we've reduced our insurance to a high deductible plan because ecurbh's been cut back and we lost benefits.

It'd be a cash out of pocket to just go.... cash we really don't have. I'm reading a fairly lengthy description of it though.
