Bah! My connection is laggy today. Yes yes, that is it. Had a dream I was a ninja last night. It was right after the one where I was Lupin. All my dreams are action movies.

I had a dream I was at an amusement park. I want to go play on roller coasters but nobody here likes them. And I want to do something cool for the 4th but everyone, other than Rosie, is out of town.

Today was bagel day - twice a month I let myself stop at the bagel shop on the way to work. So I'm still full. Might actually wait lunch til after Rosie 'n me go to Wally-world this afternoon. Going out for a late dinner with a birthday-girl friend.
Another strange/quiet day on FR. Came back from lunch and found another 'boobs' thread on the front page. Something about wanting to put a Hooters on Souter's land in NH.

Have spent most of the morning downstairs helping one of the office ladies. Finally diagnosed her problem as her Unix priveleges having being revoked due to quota violations. Took forever because she was only trying to do one thing on that side and it wasn't giving us an error message.
It's all about giving Souter a taste of his own medicine. Let him see what it feels like to have his property seized.
I was just baffled by another boob thread. Seems to be the hallmark of strange days.

Nah, the only weird thing about the sitation is it didn't lock out the Windows half of her account, which would have been obvious. It would have saved me some time. Oh well, I got her hooked up to a new printer and fixed and she's happy. Always wise to keep those ladies happy.

Clare found something in Lake George NY that's just about to open. It's a Six Flags INDOOR waterpark!! I have no idea how much it will cost, but it's attached to a new Lodge that will have some nice LARGE rooms so that we only need a couple for our troop! The best part is, we could DRIVE there, so it won't cost each girl $250 or more for the transportation! With gas, tolls, etc. It will likely cost no more than $20 each, which makes for a LOT less fundraising on their part! Clare hasn't gotten the info on the place yet, but it sure looks like fun! They'll have a wave pool, a place to go boogie boarding, a 'lazy river' tube ride, as well as several water slides!
I'm hoping the place also has an ice rink in case some of the girls want to take in a winter sport as well. Sounds like a fun activity in the dead of winter, doesn't it?
Is it like a Great Wolf Lodge? They just opened one of those in Williamsburg.
Cool! I wanna go to the Six Flags here. I love amusement parks. Water parks are fun too of course but an indoor one? So you can go in the middle of winter? That's just a little strange. In a cool way.
This one is called Six Flags Great Escape. It's supposed to be opening in the Fall, but they were going to start sending out info about the Lodge in June. I'll have to go online to check out that one in Williamsburg!
Sure!! Not everyone is into winter sports, but don't have the money to travel to warmer climes. Also, it would be fun for folks who want to do both winter stuff and the waterpark!
