I don't use Outlook, but there ought to be an Import option (under Tools, maybe?) where you'll select the archive and it will import it for you.
There is an import option at 'File'.
I've never used it though.

Heh.... looks like fun.... but you didn't sing?
theladies never gave me a chance... they're spotlite hounds...
I have no idea how to use the "file" command... started to, but got lost... yeeeeeesh...
At the top of the screen - the "File" Menu - then click on Import. I'd guess you have to browse to the archive.
Well, I'd only be slightly more helpful if I was there and could see it.
I'm a driver, not a mechanic, Jim.
that is not an alternative given...
I think for archive files, you CAN just go to File / Open and click on Outlook Data File. That's for the full version of Outlook, though. Is this Outlook, or Outlook Express? Should say on the splash screen when you open the program, if you're unsure.
There is an option "File-Open-Personal folders file (.pst)" That opens a browse window.... can you find your stuff that way?
I really wish I had a clue how to import stuff to Outlook, I've never tried. I've exported stuff to do mail merge type things.... but never tried to move address books to a new machine.
PST files are Outlook files... Highlight the one I have highlighted above, then in the second step either this choice or the one above it.
That opens to a browse window to find it on the other disk.
buffer eh? Thanks, will have to get me one. We definatly put more rounds thought it at the moot then most people shooting at Americans live to squeeze off.
fixed the mail issue...
now all I havetuh worry 'bout is gettin' PhotoShop ontuh the new puter...
got USB ports in both... any way tuh do a "Vulcan mind-meld"?...
DO you have the disks to do a fresh install on the new puter?
no, it was on the hard drive of the old one when I bought it...
oh, I have a CD with Adobe PhotoDeluxe I got somewhere... izzat any good?...
not really... Does not do a lot.
Photoshop Elements on the hand would do the trick.
