We used PeoplePC at Perdido Key last year. I think we did the 'free trial' thing, then cancelled it at the end of the month. They had local numbers for dial-up in the Pensacola area, so that worked well.
AAAACK! No. We didn't look at the houses that were handicapped accessible. She'll spend time with the other siblings.
It sounds selfish, but if she went, we'd have to cater the whole trip to her. And if we have to do that, what's the point of leaving home?
You mean they won't insist you take your work home with you? :)
I agree. It wouldn't be much of a vacation for y'all. Glad she can stay with the sibs.
I think the other siblings can take care of her for such a short period of time. You guys need a break!
Now, accidentally leave Jr. and Luke behind, and you might have a peaceful trip.
Well, it's mostly the one older sister. But she's willing to help.
In July, while Jr. is in Brazil, wife has a trip to California. Luke will spend the time with this aunt (his godmother). Nana is ~supposed~ to go spend the time with the other sister in NC. But there's a storm brewin' that may change that (can't post it here, maybe at the chatview).
I haven't said too much lately. Nana's hip is "okay" but her arthritis in her wrist is worse, and she's more and more feeble every day. We simply can't leave her alone.
And we can't put her in the kennel with Sam.
Reverend Mother, I have kilt the thread.
(later)
We're back! We just went to the library.
I got a job and have orientation next week. Thanks for the prayers.
Whoohoo...two down, one to go!
Just back from the vet's. At least Miss Cat has lost some weight. She deserves some tuna for that. :)
Heh, not too much tuna though or she'll be right back where she started.
heh....yeah.
Unless she's on kitty-Atkins?
Kitties have high-protein diets anyway. I think she's on the elf diet....higher fiber required.
Hmmm. High fiber. For cats.
I'm so glad I'm not a cat-parent. I was doing well with my spiderplant...
I'm a baaaad pet parent....Miss Cat is spoiled rotten.
Congrats!! Now you can help us pray for employment for Rosie Cotton!!
You got it... prayers up!
mine?
