Many Hollywood stars retire in the oasis of Palm Springs, California where they while away their golden years splashing paint on canvases, taking leisurely strolls, playing the piano, and flipping through the pages of magazines.

While driving a relative to DFW Airport early this AM I was startled to hear a news snippet. Cheetah who starred in the 1932 Tarzan movie, "Tarzan the Ape Man" with Johnny Weissmuller was alive and chipper at age 73!

He had recently sold several of his picutes, I guess he is an artiste!

The link provided is two years old but fills in alot of blanks. He was a beer and butt guy in his earlier days but now spends his time...well the link is to a "PETAesque" propoganda page but I think that he wuld say thank you for the LONG and fruitful life.

I've seen it on TV.

They give the chimp eatable paint, and he paints and licks.

His "paintings" sell for $600 are being used to help the animal reserve.
