Yeah, that's it. The one about the kid travelling with the band. I think you have to see it at least three times to understand what a brillaint movie it is.
It is tied with Casablanca as my all-time favorite movie.

Yeah, but her daughter gave one of the best performances I have ever seen. Simply incredible.

Dolly Parton, Tim Conway, Johnny Cash, Bobby Vinton, Mac Davis, and especially Flip Wilson all had their own prime-time variety shows.
Does anybody else remember the Hudson Brothers?

I would add pretty much any song done by Neil Sedaka in the 70's. That was like nails on a chalkboard. Strolling along country roads with my baby...
(I actually like that one).

Another reason the '70s were so great: No one had ever heard of Bubba Xlinton.

There was a "punk" artist in the UK who had a top 10 hit in that country with a tune called "Glad to be Gay." Tom Robinson I believe?

Meddle is my sign of the 70's, which were just weird for me. I was skydiving at the time and wasting most of life away until '75. Then I discovered Handel and Beethoven.

I don't remember the mustard, but I do remember the toppings bar. To a nine-year-old, that was pretty amazing and verging on heavenly.
But, come to think of it... they did go out of business sometime in the late 70s, so maybe their mustard wasn't the only funky thing they had.

I. LOVED. MEDDLE.
I loved it. Wore the grooves off of it.
I skydived some in 1980. Always thought it would be amazing to skydive to "Echoes."

One of the very best things to come out of the seventies has got to be our very own
cyborg.
No doubt.
Also, the unequaled four-in-six-years championship dynasty of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cher used to date the youngest one, Brett, way back when ... after Greg Allman, before Rob-the-bagel-maker.
