Yeah, that's it. The one about the kid travelling with the band. I think you have to see it at least three times to understand what a brillaint movie it is.
It is tied with Casablanca as my all-time favorite movie.
I agree with you 100%! The story mimics Cameron Crowes actual experience traveling with the Who, the Allman Brothers and Led Zepplin. It's fun to watch it and try to figure out what band he is referencing in each scene.
BTW - Cameron Crowe is tied to two important pieces of the 70's. He wrote the liner notes for "Frampton Comes Alive" and he wrote the novel and screenplay for "Fast Times at Ridgemont High".
