C.W. McCall HAD a discography beyond "Convoy?" Must confess, I enjoyed Jackie Gleason in the first "Smokey & The Bandit", but my favorite 70's movie is "The Sting", no question.

Worst- Leisure suits

Best- ABBA

Agreed! I think ABBA is one of the most under-appreciated musical forces in the past 50 years. They get lumped in with Disco as a group, which they are far above, IMO.

The best tagline? OK, now I'M blushing.

And to think, I was trying to come up with a new one.

I got my first car in 1985- a 1977 Monte Carlo. It was still mint, with a V8 and some serious b@lls.

Best of the 1970s? That would be me, dog gone it.

Check it. I was born in December of 1971. I won "Pimp of the Year" in June of '72. When I gave my acceptance speech, my main honey had to change my diaper while I was on the podium.

My mom even had my platform baby shoes bronzed because of it.

Ya heard? ;-)
