"Sean Cassidy. He started the feathered hair craze, if I recall!"
No, that was David Cassidy, his half brother. David Cassidy (The Partridge Family) was THE teen idol of the early 70's. ::::swooooon:::::

Hence the on...and on...and on....
I didn't mean no jibba jabba (attitude). Just astonished at the lack of funk. You dig?

I see no evidence of body hair. And if by chance they shaved it, then puberty doesn't really matter. They will always be women to me.

"I like the O'Jays, and I watched Soooooooooul Train every week. The "dancers" on American Bandstand reeked bad." Dancers? You mean the little pasties reenacting virgin sex (uncomfortable movement with little rhythm)? Yeah, they were bad.
I quit with ABS when I found out Dick Clark wore high heels.

We ate those, and I loved the little dudes that came in the box. That is funny.

I thought the Wanderers was a good book but an awful movie, particularly after having lived in the Bronx for three years. Richard Price revisted the same mileau a few years later for the god-awful "Bloodbrothers."

Yes! He was indeed The Worst of the 70's! Ugh. Even worse than leisure suits and $1/gal gas on alternate days and macrame and women's lib.

Any "Real People" fans in the house tonight?Hey, I watched that show! Forgot all about it. Kathy Lee Crosby, Fran Tarkenton, and David somebody. I actually liked that show.
I also liked Love Boat and Fantasy Island, so I guess I have bad tatse.
But the idea of going on a vacation to live out some fantasy was really cool.

Oh, I had those, too. Terry cloth shorts so short, well, things could hang out and terry tops with spaghetti straps that tied at the shoulder. And pants - floor dragging bell bottoms that could double as tents. Really low rise in early 70's and really high waisted in late 70's. And 'body suits'. Jordache jeans. And the 'poodle' perms. Ugh, I may never get a perm again. But I don't necessarily have age as an excuse, I am a couple years older than you.
To: Clemenza
I don't like the "new guy on the block" subplot which was added to the film. It added nothing except lameness.
