It is good. I only ran across it in recent years. Not for kids though.

The script was by the author and he has a cameo in the film. I think he did commentary for the US DVD as well.

Strangely, I never thought of Floyd as depressing. Adventureous, new, and creative are words that come to mind; but not depressing.

Although I can understand your portrayal from songs like "Careful with the Axe, Eugene", and "One of these days", (which I called "Evil Personified") much of their stuff was beautiful music. In retrospect, I guess I focused on the music and not the words. Their vocals left much to be desired. I heard of some people trying to use the Beach Boys or Madonna for their vocals...don't know if any of it was true.
