Ann Coulter is on right now, on CBS - The Late Late Show with Graig Ferguson
I don't know what the book reference is about.
You have your own opinion of her. That's fine. Just don't expect all of us to worship at the altar of Ann.
She needs to lighten up and she'd be much more effective and reach lots more people. What would be wrong with that?
No doubt he has a bright future. He doesn't give away much on where he might stand on an issue. It's the way it should be. Just a couple of years ago Jon Stewart was that way. I wonder what makes those in the entertainment business believe America wants them to take sides? It's as Laura Ingraham said, "Shut up and sing!"
For all who would like to continue flaming me for this, go ahead and leave your message at the beep.
I'm going to bed and I'll get back to you tomorrow.
BEEP.
Texasflower, you causin' trouble again, girl? ;-)
I didn't see Ann's CBS appearance, but I'm wondering if the show was taped right after news broke of the moderates' deal on judicial filibusters. I don't imagine Ann was too happy about that. I saw her a week or two ago on The Tonight Show, and she did pretty well.
Ann has a great column on her site right now about Newsweek's selective attitudes when it comes to reporter Michael Isikoff.
According to Ann's website, she has a number of other media appearances coming up:
TUESDAY, MAY 24: HANNITY AND COLMES
WEDNESDAY, MAY 25: CNN'S LOU DOBBS
THURSDAY, MAY 26: SCARBOROUGH COUNTRY

Sorry for the double post. I got an error message saying there was trouble with the website when I tried posting the first time.
Well hi there sweetie! Yes, it appears that I am causin' trouble. But I'm off to bed soon.
I don't know when this was taped. You may be right about the timing.
I just wish she would lighten up sometimes. From Ferguson's reactions, he had not planned any sort of political discussion.
Well my friend, I'm off to bed. It's early for me for a change.
Take care Charlie.
Tammy
Night-night.
She was on the show, BECAUSE of who she is, she wasn't on the show to "have a good time" also they didn't show her book. That would be:
I didn't see Ann's CBS appearance...Fortunately, doodlelady DID watch Ann's appearance last night.
Here is her report, from he other thread:
To: RonDogThanks for the ping, Ron.
Up working late and saw the ping just in time to catch Ann. Never watched Craig Ferguson before.
Read a bit of the thread and expected her to be
horrible, but she was just herself. Hard to be on
Craig's wave length (whatever that is) so she didn't
let him drive her off the road.
Ann is an acquired taste. I find her graceful and elegant,
nobody's cookie cutter version of a conservative.
She's unique, and her individuality resonates.
She's not an actress, and she doesn't suffer fools.
She seemed incredibly good natured in the face of his
bobbing and weaving and acting like he didn't know
what she was talking about.
Ron, from your perspective, what was it like between them
during the commercial break?
She sure looked gratefully out at you guys in the audience, at the few whoops you were able to offer.
That must have meant a LOT to her.
Good job!

I said it was the first words out of HIS mouth. We'll just have to agree to disagree, I guess. I don't think she is incapable of speaking politely to anyone, as you do; I don't necessarily think he tried to be nice or get her onto some sort of neutral ground, as you do. Like I said, I believe the first words out of his mouth (at least on air, and at least within the first 15 seconds) were, "why are you so angry". That's hardly nice or neutral, IMO. She smiled the entire time she was on the show.
Hi, ron. Great to see you guys again. i got the privilegde of getting me and ann on video.
What a disgusting low blow. To use my dead father as a weapon? Do you think that's appropriate?
For the record my Dad also thought she was too much. If you truly read all of my posts then you know that I think she is lovely and smart, but she is also a smart mouth even when she doesn't need to be. She could do more with her assests that bullying people around.
You are a disgusting pig however for using my deceased father. What a low little man you are. Shameful. Just shameful.
Unbelievable.
Amazing, amazing that you would now say this. You ridicule and deride everyone now you want to play it nice.
You carelessly hurt everyone's feelings.
You are disgusting 40 yr old sow. What a pathetic woman you are.
We are conservatives, and need to remain CIVIL.
I was truly bothered and offended by the rhetoric spewed; so I responsed mildly. I hope TexasFlower also takes heed.
Sincerely. Arthur Idis
That was a typo on my part. I meant that it was not the first word out of his mouth as you claimed.
He was charming, took her by the hand and sat there smiling at her.
She launched into a unfunny remark about Bill Clinton hitting on anything with a mouth.
Many freepers went nuts over Laura Bush's comedy routine, saying it was sexually suggestive and not the sort of thing a conservative woman should be saying. Yet Coulter went on and on about Bill Clinton wanting a mouth.
He asked her why she was angry because she WAS angry. She's always angry or at least appears that way.
He did not understand some of her comments and she proceeded to make a fool out of him.
The man loves America and told her he was in the process of becoming a citizen.
She would have been far more effective if she had toned it down and not accused him of being a leftist just because he works for CBS.
It doesn't matter if she smiles when she's being mean. It's still mean.
She did not do us proud. Sorry that we disagree on this, but as you say, we should just agree to disagree.
