I think the post that hurt me most was when someone said to the eastcoaster person that they were sorry for answering me without knowing me first.

I'm very sorry that your feelings got hurt, and I wanted to go back and see the post you were referring to. It was actually Eddie65 who replied to Eastforker's accusation of trolling with the comment that he didn't know you, and maybe it was 'naive' of him to respond to you. It had absolutely nothing to do with you. The entire problem on this thread was caused by eastforker's paranoia and unwillingness to listen to reason. He/she seems to be the type of person who is unwilling to admit when they are wrong, and will go to unreasonable lengths just to try and prove it. Ignore them in the future, I certainly will.

Don't let him win and scare you from posting here again. I was a democrat when I joined up here and started posting, albeit a conservative one. I have always treated with a lot of respect and humor here, although we all have to endure slings and arrows occasionally. Oh, BTW, I've fixed the party affiliation problem (but kept the username) Best of luck to you and your daughter!

ACK. To clarify the record, when I said I didn't know Cyber Mom, it was in response to eastforker's accusation that Cyber Mom and I knew each other and were tag teaming and trolling together. And when I said maybe I was naive to respond to Cyber Mom, I meant because I was posting on the day I signed up and that seems to be frowned upon here. I'm pretty sure Cyber Mom knew what I meant.

Please don't be scared away by the antics of one paranoid and irrational poster (Eastforker.) I've been following this thread since it happened and was proud to see the half dozen freepers jump to your defense. There exist some people on this website whose only goal is to intimidate and belittle people. These are people that have to be ignored. I'm certain that the goal of this website is not to create an exclusive club, but rather to spread the conservative philosophy. Clearly, in order to do this we must welcome new people rather than accuse them. My mother is the person who steered me toward this site; she has been lurking since the late nineties. She has yet to log in or post because she is afraid she'll say something wrong and get 'flamed.' One can say all they want about a thick skin; she has that without a doubt. The difference arises when individuals from a group you respect greatly turn on you and humiliate you. This should not be tolerated. The aforementioned accuser should have been suspended for posting a private freepmail. That is inexcusable. But please stay cybermom and eddie65. Most here are not irrational FreepFacists, but kind, intelligent people. Please stay and allow your various views to be heard. You, in one vanity post, already have more FRiends and defenders than Eastforker garnered over many years.

You know, if you are gonna talk bad about someone you should at least ping them to the thread. You and several others have bad mothed me here and on different threads without so much as a ping. Trust me, if I have something to say about you, you will be the first to know.

Tell me something else, what is so sacred about a freepmail. If I tell you something to your face , either public or private, why should I be ashamed if you repete it unles I specificly ask you not to. She even admitted in her freepmail that if she wasn't a troll she should be. On this thread I have been called a bastard and on other threads a jerk among others and I did not go running to JR, the moderators or hit the abuse button like others have. I will not sit here and have you bad mouth me without my input, especialy from another newbie.
