Sorry she was molested as a kid, hope she is abused as an adult.
Isn't it also well documented that many heterosexuals were sexually abused when young?
Thankfully
Too much of nothing
Can turn a man into a liar,
It can cause one man to sleep on nails
And another man to eat fire.
Ev'rybody's doin' somethin',
I heard it in a dream,
But when there's too much of nothing,
It just makes a fella mean.
Yup, I can see how being a laywer would look like a step up...
Explains her preference for females.
That would explain it. Was it a horror novel?
The thought of talking to her makes me nauseous, I can't imagine thinking about,,,,,,,,never mind.
Could explain a lot of what passes for typical behavior among actors and why they would seek out and succeed at what amounts to convincing pretense of multiple personalities.
One Sunday, I was home sick and I watched some show called Gay Nation or something like that, on Free speech TV. This particular "episode" was all about lesbians. They interviewed, at least, a dozen of them. I think every single one of them without exception had been sexually abused or raped at some point in their life.
Is there ANY lefty jabber-Jill that hasn't been molested? It must be a requirement in order to achieve the victimhood necessary to appeal to hordes of pathetic women in this country. Sheesh. Life will be over before they know it, and they will have spent it watching other "victims" cry on TV.
Regardless of what it says about her sexual orientation, it does show the dangers of having children raised by non-biological parents. That applies to non-biological parents of the same gender as well.
That's the real question, the one that should be addressed before anyone jumps to conclusions as to the extent that abuse can affect sexual orientation.
Unfortunately, emotions and politics on this issue are so strong on both the progressive Left and fundamentalist far Right that it makes any objective scientific research on this topic difficult, if not impossible in this day and age.

My sentiments exactly. They are groomed early for their craft. Sadly, rather than being able to deal with their problem they are rewarded for their ability to shift characters and mask emotions. Small wonder they are morally vacant. It shows, for the most part, in what is produced in the MSM.
As for the press conferences, if it empowers one child to speak, it's ok by me. We hate hearing bad news from Iraq day after day, but it stregthens our resolve that good must conquer.
There are evil doers out there and some of them have lived in our homes. Let the woman speak and leave politics aside. This is one message she may get right.
Well, if she knew she was gay BEFORE the molestation, then it's pretty obvious.

You should have met the women who ran the "Women Against Rape" (WAR) group on the Ohio State University campus in the mid 1980s. I had a girlfirend at the time who was going to join (a few months after an attempted rape on her person). They spent little time discussing sexual assault issues and almost all their time on recruiting women to the lesbian lifestyle.
My ex-girlfriend went to two meetings just in case the first one had been a fluke. Nope. All of their activities and events were designed around exclusion of men and bringing the women into their fold. They openly acknowledged that women who had recently suffered a sexual assault would be more inclined to enter into a woman on woman relationship.
I am Joe Average. Sixty-three years old, retired, Engineer/Lawyer and no special deeds/accomplishments or negatives.
I would like to announce to the assembled media that I WAS NOT MOLESTED AS A CHILD.
My childhood was fairly normal in an average WHITE family in Sioux City, Iowa.
Now, I would guess there are as many people who care about my story as there are who care about that broad's.
I feel your pain! Really I do. I need to find a support group so I can come to terms with myself, but I just haven't had any luck finding a support group for screwed up kids of terrific, loving parents!
You see, I had a mother that was loving, kind, protective, and caring. She ensured that I was always cared for, and well educated, pretty much giving up her life to raise me the best way she could. No, I was never beaten, abused, or molested.
I feel so empty...

Gotta be careful how we handle this one. Maya Keyes anyone?
