I just read about the new Nintendo Revolution, and although it isnt going to be as powerful a system as Sony or even Xbox, I think they are going to be the major player this time around, especially with wifi out of the box, free online gaming and access to its entire history and catalog of games. Nintendo is one to watch.

Will it snag when you try to open the cd tray and break like the PS2?

Does anyone have an opinion on the XBOX 360? how does it compare to the stats on the PS3?
...any word on the pricing of these new systems?
To: Yossarian
Sony also confirmed that the machine will be backward compatible all the way to the original PlayStation. Answers my only question. I was going to get a PS 2 within a few months, now I may as well just hold off.

I am going to Kung Fu fight for my PS3. The good thing is that I know this will still play PS2 games.

Wowie, wow, wow! I guess this means I'm going to have to exchange my PS2 for the PS3 next year.

Does anyone know
which of the big companies
making game boxes
are the most open
to independent writers
bringing up programs
onto their hardware?
Do some make development
tools more readily
available than
others? Are there restrictive
fees for programmers?
